I like to collect new coin publications from the Reserve bank of India. For the understanding of all, these coins are provided in 2 sets viz. proof set and Uncirculated sets. These coins generally appreciate in value from year to year and can give multifold returns.
One thing that I have been collecting throughout my life is nail polish. I have over 1,000 different kinds of nail polish from all over the world. I love having all different colors so I can set them up all over my apartment. I do not use them, I keep them sealed up.
I collect Starbucks mug from different places. I have been a coffee addict five years ago, It all started with a gift from my friend who gave me a Manila Starbucks mug. I used the mug in the office. Since then people have started giving me Starbucks mug as a Christmas gift or as a souvenir token when they go out of country. Currently, I have 30 worldwide mugs which include Dubai, Egypt, and Bahamas. They all look similar, a white mug with the Starbucks logo with the country and the flag on the other side. My favorite one is from Bahamas, because it was given to me by a Facebook friend whom I have never met and had just read my post regarding the collection. She then gave me three mugs all with different designs.
My name is Susan and i am a collector of watches, clocks and time pieces. Where ever i go , if i see an old watch or a watch that is thrown aside i request my friends, relatives to give them to me. I have a collection of Titain, rolex, timex, Swiss,HMT,Skoda, Solo, Casio, Rado etc and all the grandfather's clocks. I repair them and place them in my showcase and the clocks and time pieces, and at all the hours, they keep chiming. Its music to the ears. They are in various colours like gold plated, silver, brown, teak wood colour, black, and their bases are steel, based metal bezel and with stainless steel case backs. Some are so sweet and small, some are so big and with big numbers that even a blind man can see.

My daughter has the habit of collecting stamps. yes it started just like that when we open post which comes to our home.I used to retain the cover for reusing and in the meantime will tell the daughter to take the stamp. Like this it started and she was much interested and she volunteered to open the cover thereafter by herself take the stamp and then the cover to me. This lead me to think why cannot I train and teach my daughter on stamp so I took her to the nearest post office and made her join as a member. Now she has got around 5000 stamps of different countries and the most amusing fact is that once this hobby struck with her she got support from all the quarters and especially her grandmother/grandfather gave her the age old coins so that she will treasure this.She has already participated in three exhibitions and she feels proud of herself. Yes as a father I am also happy and just told to me myself that when we force things it never happens but when it is on their own it happens for the better.
